This wood model features a full cutaway of the F-4 Phantom II with a Phantom exterior view in flight just above the model. The squadron emblem and nameplate are to the left and the front view and planform are on the right. The F-4 Phantom II wood model, whether the B, C, D, E, F, J, M, N, S, F, or G, is easily tailored to individual aircraft marking requirements.
We labored over F-4 repair manuals, NAVAIR flight manuals, parts catalogs, 3D virtual tours of the crew compartments, and visits to F-4 museum restorations to bring you details that you cannot find anywhere else. We also have the F-4 frame numbers which give us the exact number of inches the frame is from the nose. When combined with knowing the height and position of the longerons, we had a grid to use to accurately lay out the F-4 components.
The focus of the F-4 model is the cutaway and spans the length of the frame. The exterior of the F-4 is directly above the cutaway, so comparisons can easily be made. Key features include:
- The pilot and RIO are sitting in their Martin Baker Mk7 ejection seats while wearing their g-suite.
- The frames are cut away to expose the GE J79 engine.
- The AIM-7 missiles are embedded in the side of the fusalage with the fins visible behind the frames.
- The AIM-9 Sidewinders are on pylons hanging off the wings.
- AN/AWG-10 Radar is in the nose.

We can also customize this cutaway with any serial number or markings. The design will remain the same as pictured, but will carry your desired serial number and markings. Please allow three to four weeks for delivery on custom items as they need to be built from scratch. Once completed, we can also use the artwork to make coffee mugs, t-shirts, and magnets.
