Celebrate the fascinating world of United States Navy CAG Birds with this mug.
The United States Navy allows each squadron to paint one airplane in full high visibility colors rather than the dull grey used to minimize detection. They are traditionally the "00" aircraft in a squadron's numbering system (e.g., Modex 100, 200, or 500) and often feature the CAG's name and the names of other senior staff. Each squadron is only limited by their imagination as they transform one aircraft into a morale boosting, point of pride.
The best CAG bird of each major variant of the F/A-18 Super Hornet is featured on the left hand side of the mug: the single seat F/A-18E, the two seat F/A-18F, and the electronic warfare version, the EA-18G Growler. Opposite the handle, the top view and side view of the Super Hornet. On the right side of the mug, we showcase the internals of the Super Hornet. The top plane is the external view, the middle plane shows the frames and internal structures, and the bottom plane shows the cockpit, engines, 20mm Vulcan Cannon, and electronic gear.
