On the right hand side of the mug, the demonstration flight plan of the United 777 over San Francisco. The flight plan map includes notes to the pilot such as:

On the left hand side of the mug, we feature United 747 and the United 777, the two planes that have been used in the United flight demonstration. Please notice how the United logo on the vertical stabilizer has varied over the years. The phrase "Energy in the Box" is what United test pilots tell each other about how to fly the demo pattern.
Opposite the handle is the United logo and name.
