The Ford Tri-Motor, nicknamed "The Tin Goose," was the most popular airliner of the late 1920's and early 1930's. The prestigious Ford name name and all-metal, corrugated aluminum construction made it popular with passengers and airline operators alike. A total of 199 Tri-Motors were made.
This mug features N414,one of 28 delivered to Pan Am, which flew to Latin America. Nearly all US Airlines, including American, Eastern, Pan Am, TWA, and United, began by flying Tri-Motors. We can make this mug with any airline livery.
