The Northrup Grumman B-2 Spirit bomber is designed to penetrate dense air defenses with stealth technology. Stealth technology is really a variety of technologies to avoid detection by reflection of radar waves, thermal emission from thrust, and infrared. The B-2 has a crew of two and an internal payload of 50,000 lbs. The plane is powered by 4 GE F118-GE-100 engines.
This 11 oz mug celebrates the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. Whether by coincidence or by design, the side profile of a B-2 closely matches side profile of a hawk. Regardless of the angle seen from, the B-2 looks right and flies right.
One side of the mug features the top, front, and side view of the B-2 drawn in proportion of each other. Please notice how the length is considerably shorter than the width. The side view also depicts the B-2 as Mk-82 bombs are being released.
On the other side of the mug, a side profile of a hawk is compared to the side profile of the B-2.
