The photograph that is displayed is that of the USS Hornet wood model verses the USS Leyete, as we have not yet photographed the USS Leyete.
Our laser cut wood model will feature the flight deck of the USS Leyete same as the Hornet as depicted in the photograph. We can produce a wood model of any Essex class carrier in its angled or straight WWII deck configuration. Please send us an e-mail request with the ship configuration that you would like.
Upon request we can personalize the nameplate with for example a name, that persons rank, and actual services dates that they served aboard the ship. Please include the exact wording desired on the personalized name plate in the comments section of your on line order. You can also send the personlized text via e-mail directly to us.
The overall inside dimensions of the custome frame is 9" x 20".
Every Essex class carrier varies in its exact configuration and we make special effort to depict as she actually was configured for the service dates requested.
