On the left side, the mug has the squadron emblem with a side view of the Super Hornet with the squadron markings. On the opposite side of the mug, the F/A-18E Super Hornet is depicted airborne carrying a center line drop tank and JADM bombs. On the lower right side, a full cutaway of the Super Hornet is displayed hooked up and awaiting launch from a C-13 catapult. The pilot is in position with his left hand holding the canopy grip handle while the shooter signals for the aircraft to be launched. Opposite the handle, the top view and front view is displayed along with the lights of the Fresnel optical landing system.
