Product Description
| A model or a print? | Our models reveal more than diecast ever will AND never need dusting. |
The twin-seat, dual-control airplane trained US pilots during World War I for both the Army and Navy. The Jenny was credited with the first successful dive bombing attack by the USMC in Haiti. Bell Labs used the Jenny for the first “plane-to-plane” and “plane-to-ground” radio phone calls. Thousands of surplus Jennys launched the barnstorming era in the 1920’s, including flying the US Mail. Notable Jenny owners included Charles Lindbergh who soloed in the Jenny and Betsy Coleman, the first African-American aviator.
Size: 20½" x 8½"
