This mug celebrates the designs of Stanely Hiller.
The left hand side of the mug features the 1946 "UH-4 Commuter", a two place, coaxial rotor design that was In collaboration with Henry J. Kaiser.
The right hand side of the mug features the 1950 Coleopter, a type of VTOL aircraft design that uses a ducted fan as the primary fuselage of the entire aircraft.
